HUAC NYC proudly presents Bison on Broadway, Part II on June 8th when we an engagement to see THURGOOD staring Tony Award winner and Academy Award nominee Laurence Fishburne! This powerful new play is a strictly limited engagement and brings to life the words, wit, and wisdom of one of America’s greatest heroes, as well as one of our must prestigious alums. Real Men Cook - Father's Day |

As part of our commitment to community service, the Howard University Alumni Club of New York City is proud to participate in this year’s 19th Annual Nationwide Real Men Cook® Father’s Day Event in Harlem on Sunday, June 15, 2008 At The Minisink Townhouse (Corner of Lenox & 142nd Street). The organizers of Real Men Cook® have formally begun recruiting for cooks in the Tri-State area with hopes to reach their goal is 100 cooks representing Real Men. Now we all know real Howard men can burn (in a good way) so all those alum interested in presenting their chef skills come join the “Bison Cookers” team. The Real Men Cook® Father’s Day Event is a charity event that is a national crusade to positively change the way the world views men in relationship to their families and the community. The crusade includes events, which take place all on the same day, Father’s Day; in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
